In 2006 Peggy Campbell, RN, LNC and Claudia Rudolf Barrett, founder and director ballet tech® of ohio joined in a collaboration to implement the "Grow A Great Dancer"® program. This endeavor has grown to include collaborations with other professionals in the dance, medicine and science arenas, including world renowned Lisa Howell Dance Physiotherapist author of The Perfect Pointe System and Deb Vogel dance neuromuscular specialist and her Body Series, who teaches us how to Dance Smart! We highly encourage you to vist Lisa and Deb's websites and sign up for their very informative newsletters. Deb and Lisa are collaborating and offering educational information as well as podcasts on their website The Science of Dance Training. We support and promote the goals of Dancer Wellness and the International Association of Dance, Medicine and Science. (IADMS)


Offering health programs developed and implemented by a registered nurse , a member of IADMS .The goal to offer healthy and safe training to dancers in collaboration with professionals from the fields of dance, medicine and science.  Offering educational programs and material in nutrition, injury prevention, stress relief and the importance of sleep. As well as information and resources regarding appropriate treatment and rehabilitation for dance related injuries. Working together and in collaboration with professionals who are concerned with the dancers' physical and psychological well being. With a commitment to continuing education our students benefit from our consistent philosophy of the holistic approach; nurturing mind, body and spirit to cultivate healthy and happy dancers/individuals with strong self esteem who can use this knowledge throughout their life span. Providing the background and tools to succeed and excel not only in the field of dance, but in all walks of life.

Furthering the goal of educating the dance community at large in these vital healthcare issues in order to cultivate healthy and happy dancers who will blossom into well adjusted individuals. Due to her background working with heart patients Peggy understands the importance of including information to promote being heart healthy,

Offering programs/education in Dance Nutrition, Injury Prevention.  Learning how to Deal with Stress and how Sleep is Essential..

Educating others to how dance and Music therapy can be used in a variety of ways to not only promote good health, but also to promote healing.

To Grow A Healthy Dancer®,  Dental Health is an essential aspect to overall health and you're never too young to begin!  Peggy also developed our Grow A Great Reader® program in collaboration with Usborne Books at Home and our affiliates See Me Books Inc.and Hooked on Phonics.

During her lectures at our Summer Intensive Ms. Campbell offers extensive education in nutrition and injury prevention while using audi-visual tools and resource materials from a vast arena of collaborators who are also dedicated to promoting dancers' physical and psychological well being.

As our school nurse and developing programs to cultivate healthy dancers, Peggy serves as a valuable year round resource to our faculty, parents, students and the dance community at large by her commitment to continuing education using textbooks, the Internet, emails, newsletters, e-books and YouTube®.

Ms. Campbell's years spent in research at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine and her understanding of human anatomy and physiology, immunology and research/science allows her to bring to our holistic health educational programs cutting edge technology and information regarding safe foods and the promotion of GM Free Foods and the Campaign for Eating Healthier.

For example: Due to Peggy's lecture during our July 2007 Summer Intensive nutrition program bto students had the information first regarding the epidemic of vitamin D deficiency and the deficiency of other essential nutrients in USA kids today. That same information was in a large article in the Cincinnati Enquirer Sunday, June 22, 2008, a year later!
